In 2007 we commissioned a boat to be built for us by Grand Craft Boat Builders, LLC out of Holland, Michigan. We actually supervised the construction and have pictures of it along the building process. We took possession in May of 2008.

Our boat, SUNDOWNER, is a Philippine Mahogany
Chris Craft look-a-like. The model is a Grand Sport inboard and it is 20' long with a 7' beam and 20" draft, completed in 2008. She has a Crusader 5.7 liter engine with 330 HP. The floor is mahogany, seats green, green bottom paint, and storage cover, with stereo, iPod dock, ladder, swim platform, trailer and boat lift.

Unfortunately, we have moved off a lake that is big enough for her power.  Just think, you will not have to wait for this custom beauty to be yours! LOOK at all the wood! Isn't she just beautiful??

We also have great pictures of her actually being built.  Please email to have me send you those pictures.

Here she is, sitting pretty on her trailer...We purchased this wonderful trailer, that is sure to be able to haul her anywhere, which is included in her price.

As we have had her for sale for awhile, we are willing to deal on the price.  We will also include delivery, if the price is right.  No better time than now!   A new Grand Craft is now $90,000! What a great deal for a boat that is LIKE NEW with less than 40 hours on the engine.

Looks good in or out of the water ...

ABOUT GRAND CRAFT
Grand-Craft . . . builders of handcrafted mahogany runabouts embodying the classic design and enduring spirit of the 20s and 30s. Grand-Craft boats are influenced by classic American designs and built with every modern convenience for superior performance. These boats actually increase in value because only a few are manufactured each year, and the lead time for manufacturing a boat is 1 year.
Grand-Graft melds state-of-the-art woodworking techniques with Old World craftsmanship; modern performance technologies with traditional styling. Each Grand-Craft requires thousands of man-hours; a month or longer just in the finishing room. More craftsmanship and attention to detail per running foot than virtually any other watercraft made today.
Grand-Craft utilizes a special wood epoxy saturation process, arguably the best epoxy lamination system available. Not only does this technique bond multiple layers of wood for unsurpassed flexibility and strength, this process also makes the hull virtually impervious to any damaging effects of salt or freshwater. In addition to protecting the wood, this saturation process eliminates the need for “soaking up” the hull, a task traditionally associated with wooden hulls.
All hardware is hand-cast brass or bronze, which is plated in copper, nickel and chrome, by the highest quality process available. Heavy as it is handsome, this striking hardware exemplifies the quality of Grand-Craft — strong, durable and beautiful works of art.
